What is Kubana Cloud?

The products, how billing works and how everything is organised, in five minutes.

Kubana Cloud is one dashboard for everything a website or an application needs: servers, managed app hosting, cPanel hosting, professional email and domains. One account and one prepaid balance pay for all of it.

How it is organised

  • Your account holds everything. You can turn on sign-in codes and share individual servers and domains with teammates.
  • Projects group resources, for example Production and Staging, or one project per client. Every server, app and domain belongs to a project. See Create a project.
  • Resources are the things you create inside a project: an app, a server, a domain, a hosting account, an email domain.

How you pay

Kubana is prepaid. You top up credit in USD, BIF or RWF, and usage is deducted from that balance:

  • Servers and apps are billed by the hour while they exist.
  • Domains, hosting and email are paid per year.

There are no invoices to settle at the end of the month. How prepaid credits work has the details.

Where your data lives

When you create a server you choose its region: Europe, the United States or Asia. Rwanda and Burundi are available on request.
