How-to

Turn on two-factor authentication

Ask for a 6-digit code, sent to your email, every time you sign in.

With two-factor authentication on, signing in takes your password and a 6-digit code that Kubana emails to you. Someone who learns your password still can't get into your account without access to your inbox.

Turn it on

  1. Open your Profile and go to the Account Settings tab.
  2. Switch on two-factor authentication.
  3. Enter your password to confirm.

From your next sign-in, a code is sent to your email after you enter your password.

Sign in with a code

  1. Sign in as usual, with your password or with Google or GitHub.
  2. Kubana asks for a verification code and emails you a 6-digit code.
  3. Enter the code. You can paste the whole code at once.

Didn't get the email? Check your spam folder, then use Resend code.

Codes are sent by email only. Keep your account email address up to date in Profile → Account Settings.

Turn it off

Go back to Profile → Account Settings, switch two-factor authentication off and confirm with your password.

Changing your password

In the same tab you can change your password. The new one must be at least 8 characters and different from the current one.
