Which product do I need?
Match what you want to put online to App Platform, a VPS, cPanel hosting, email or a domain.
Start from what you want to put online. Most people need one of the first three answers below, plus a domain.
I have code in a GitHub repository
Use App Platform. You connect the repository, pick a size and deploy. Kubana builds the app and serves it over HTTPS, and it can redeploy on every push. You never log in to a server.
- Good for: static sites, Vue, React, Next.js, Express and Laravel apps.
- Small frontend apps can run on the free size (up to 2 per account).
- Billed by the hour from your credit.
I need a server I fully control
Use a VPS. You get a virtual machine with root access, choose its region and operating system, and install whatever you need.
- Good for: databases, custom system packages, background services, anything App Platform does not run.
- Comes with metrics, a browser terminal, SSH keys and team access.
- Billed by the hour while the server exists.
I want a WordPress or PHP website
Use cPanel hosting. Kubana creates the hosting account and opens cPanel for you in one click.
- Good for: WordPress, small business sites, anyone who prefers cPanel's file manager and one-click installers.
- Includes free SSL and daily backups. Paid per year.
I want email on my own domain
Use Professional email. Connect your domain, add the DNS records Kubana shows you, then create mailboxes.
- Your website does not need to move to Kubana.
- Paid per year, per plan.
I need a domain name
Use Domains & DNS to register or transfer a domain, and manage its DNS records next to the services it points to. WHOIS privacy is free.
Still unsure?
| If you… | Choose |
|---|---|
| …push code to GitHub and don't want to manage servers | App Platform |
| …need root access or software App Platform doesn't support | VPS |
| …run WordPress or want cPanel | cPanel hosting |
| …only need email addresses | Professional email |
You can mix products. A common setup is an app on App Platform, email on Professional email and the domain on Kubana DNS, all in one project.
