Kubana Cloud uses a credits-based system. You top up credits in your preferred currency, and resource usage is deducted automatically. This gives your organization predictable spend control without surprise invoices.
App Platform
No. Kubana builds the container for your framework, including frontend assets. Your repository only needs to be a regular project for that framework.
Yes. You add a read-only deploy key to the repository, so Kubana can pull your code but never push to it.
Apps are billed hourly from your account credit; monthly prices assume 720 hours. Stopped apps are still billed until you terminate them, and paid apps need 72 hours of credit to deploy.
Yes. You can run up to 2 frontend apps on the free size.
Yes. Add the domain to your app, point its DNS to the record shown in the dashboard, and a TLS certificate is issued automatically.
Choose a VPS when you need root access, custom system packages or services App Platform does not run. Choose App Platform when you want your code online without managing a server.
VPS Servers
You are charged only for the hours your server exists, from your account credit. Monthly prices show the cost of a full month, so you can compare plans easily.
Shared CPU instances are cost-effective for development and variable workloads. Dedicated CPU instances give you guaranteed compute for production applications that need consistent performance.
Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04, Debian 11, 12 and 13, Fedora, CentOS Stream 9 and 10, and openSUSE. The $5 and $7 entry sizes offer Ubuntu and Fedora.
Yes. Resize your server to a larger plan from the dashboard. Changes take effect after a brief restart.
Europe, the United States and Asia are available in the dashboard. Servers in Rwanda and Burundi are available on request; contact our team.
Choose App Platform when you want your code online from GitHub without managing a server. Choose a VPS when you need root access, custom system packages or long-running services.
cPanel Hosting
Yes. Choose "Use existing domain" when you order, or register a new domain in the same order.
Open your hosting account in the Kubana dashboard and sign in to cPanel in one click.
Yes. Every plan includes the Softaculous one-click installer for WordPress and other apps.
Hosting plans are paid yearly from your account credit.
Choose cPanel Hosting if you want a website with email included. Choose Professional Email if you only need mailboxes on your domain.
cPanel Hosting is managed for you and suits websites and WordPress. Choose a VPS when you need root access or software that shared hosting does not allow.
Professional Email
No. Only your domain’s mail records point to Kubana; your website can stay where it is.
The dashboard shows the exact MX, DKIM and DMARC records for your domain and marks each one as active once it is live.
Mailbox Starter includes 5 accounts and Mailbox Plus includes 12. Contact us for a custom Enterprise plan.
Email plans are paid yearly from your account credit.
Choose Professional Email if you only need mailboxes. Choose cPanel Hosting if you also want to host a website.
Domains & DNS
.com, .bi, .rw and many more. Search for a name to see its availability and price.
Yes. Start a transfer from the dashboard with the authorization (EPP) code from your current registrar, then follow its status there.
Yes. Add the domain as a DNS zone, then set its nameservers at your registrar to ns1.kubana.cloud, ns2.kubana.cloud and ns3.kubana.cloud.
Yes, WHOIS privacy is free on supported extensions.
Yes. Get the EPP authorization code from the domain’s settings in your dashboard and give it to the new registrar.
AI assistants (MCP)
The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI assistants call tools in other services. Kubana’s MCP servers give assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor and VS Code a safe way to read and act on your Kubana resources.
No. Connections use OAuth: you sign in to Kubana in your browser and approve the assistant. Your password never leaves Kubana, and you never paste a secret into the assistant.
Yes. Each server is a separate connector in your assistant, with its own URL. Add the ones you need; you sign in and approve access once per server.
Exactly what the tools of that server allow, with the same permissions and limits as your account. App Platform, Webmail, VPS, Domains and DNS can make changes, such as deploying an app, ordering webmail, creating a server, registering a domain or adding a DNS record. By default, risky changes need a code Kubana emails you. Shared Hosting is read-only for now. Each server lists what stays in the dashboard.
An assistant connected to your account asked to do something that costs money, takes a site offline or touches secrets, such as creating or stopping an app, ordering webmail, deleting a mailbox, creating a server, registering a domain or changing a DNS record. It’s a genuine Kubana email: it shows a 6-digit code, the action (with its price when it costs money, and the region, size and image for a new server), which assistant asked and when. Give the code to your assistant to let it run. If you didn’t ask for it, ignore the email and revoke that assistant under MCP Servers in your dashboard.
Yes. Under MCP Servers → Approval policy in the dashboard, keep Recommended (codes for actions that cost money, take something offline or touch secrets), choose Custom to pick actions one by one, or choose Never ask. The policy applies to every connected assistant, from its next request. Reading data and actions you take in the dashboard never need a code.
Yes. Under MCP Servers in the dashboard, open the server and switch it off. Every assistant’s requests to it are refused until you switch it back on, and assistants stay connected, so they don’t need to sign in again.
Connecting is free. Actions are billed like the same actions in the dashboard, for example a deployment needs the same credits whether you start it here or from an assistant.
In the dashboard, open MCP Servers → Connections and revoke the assistant’s access to a server, or disconnect it entirely. It loses access immediately. You can also remove the Kubana connector from your assistant’s settings. To connect again, repeat the setup.
It can look things up, such as your accounts, disk usage and plans, but can’t change anything yet. Make those changes in the dashboard or in cPanel.
