How-to

Give someone access to a server

Share one server or all of them, with view, manage, delete or give-access permissions.

Give teammates access to your servers without sharing your account. Each person signs in with their own Kubana account.

Permission levels

Each level includes the ones above it.

Permission They can
Can view/list See the server without changing it
Can manage Also use the terminal, power it on and off, and change its settings
Can delete Also delete the server
Can give access Also grant access to other people

Share one server

  1. Open the server, then its Settings tab.
  2. Under access management, enter one or more email addresses, separated by commas or spaces.
  3. Pick a permission, choose Grant access, and confirm.

Share all your servers

Open VPS → Settings to grant access to every server in your account, with the same permission levels.

What they see

Shared servers appear in their VPS list with a Shared tag. Tabs and buttons they don't have permission for are hidden.

Change or remove access

The Users with access list shows each person, their permission and status. Use the pencil to change the permission, or the bin to revoke access.

Give people the lowest level they need. Someone who only checks on servers needs Can view/list. Anyone who needs the terminal needs Can manage. Few people need Can delete.
