Share access with teammates
How sharing works on Kubana: what can be shared, the permission levels and who pays.
Kubana doesn't have shared team accounts. Instead, each teammate signs in with their own Kubana account, and you grant them access to specific resources. You can revoke it at any time, and nobody needs your password.
What you can share
| Resource | Where | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| One server, or all your servers | Server Settings tab, or VPS → Settings | Give someone access to a server |
| One domain, or all your domains | Domain Sharing tab, or Domains → Sharing settings | Share a domain |
Apps, hosting accounts, email domains and projects can't be shared yet.
Permission levels
Each level includes the ones before it:
- Can view/list: see it, change nothing.
- Can manage: change settings. On servers this includes the terminal and power.
- Can delete: delete it (servers only).
- Can give access: share it with others.
Who pays
Charges, such as hourly server usage and domain renewals, are always paid from the owner's credit, whoever triggers them.
Good practice
- Invite people by the email they use for Kubana.
- Give the lowest level that does the job.
- Revoke access when someone leaves your team. Revoked entries stay in the list for your records.
