Metrics, activity and status
Read CPU, memory and disk charts, the activity log and what each server status means.
Every server page shows how hard the server is working and what has happened to it.
Metrics
The Metrics tab charts usage, in percent:
- CPU, one line per core
- Memory
- Disk, one line per device
Pick a period: 1, 6 or 24 hours, or 7, 14 or 21 days. The charts refresh every 15 seconds.
Reading the charts
- CPU constantly near 100%: the server is too small for the load, or a process is stuck. Check it from the terminal.
- Memory near 100%: the server may start swapping or killing processes. Consider a bigger size.
- Disk filling up: clear logs and old files before it's full. A full disk can stop databases and web servers.
Activity
The Activity tab lists recent events for the server, such as creation, power changes and deletion, with how long ago each happened.
Status
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Creating | The server is being set up |
| Running | The server is on |
| Stopped | The server is powered off and still billed |
| Error | Something went wrong. Contact support |
| Deleting | The server is being removed |
From your AI assistant
With the VPS MCP server, you can ask your assistant about your servers and their metrics, for example "Which of my servers is using the most CPU?"
