Transfer a domain away
Get the EPP authorization code to move a domain to another registrar.
You can move a domain from Kubana to another registrar at any time. The new registrar will ask for the domain's EPP authorization code.
Get the EPP code
- Open My domains → Manage, then the Settings tab.
- Choose Get auth code and confirm. This prepares the domain for transfer away from Kubana.
- Copy the code and give it to your new registrar.
Keep the code private
Anyone with the code can start a transfer of your domain. Only share it with the registrar you're moving to.
Then, at the new registrar
- Start the transfer and paste the code.
- Approve the transfer from the registrant email if asked.
Before you move, check that your DNS will keep working. If the domain uses Kubana's nameservers, recreate its records at your new DNS provider first, or keep using Kubana DNS.
You need the Can manage permission or ownership to see the code.
